TOP TEAM STACKS / HITTER TARGETS:

PHILLIES AT COLORADO – I think you are going to need a piece of this game in your lineups. You don’t have to stack but but at least get 1-2 hitters. This game has an total of 11 runs and both pitchers struggled last time out. Kyle Freeland is tough on LHH with a 1.67 xFIP to them so far this year and 3.85 last year so if you want to skip Harper at the obserd price of $5,800 I’m good with that. His PPG average has been pretty low so far this year anyways. Freeland has a 4.96 xFIP to RHH and 4.35 over last season. This means I’m looking at McCutchen, Segura, Hoskins, Realmuto, etc.

Colorado would be the contrarian side of the stack but they are just priced too high for me. Blackman at (5100) avg 6.2 fppg and a .210 wOBA vs. RHP? Really? Nolan Arenado at (5400) with a .235 wOBA vs. RHP and 8.3 fppg, no thanks. Story at least has a .306 wOBA and 9.2 fppg but still a whopping (5300). I’m taking a couple off the Philly side likely the 1-2-4 hitters and skipping Harpster unless I free up some money!

SEATTLE VS. STRATTON – Stratton has a great pre-season and then fell apart when the season started. He has failed to reach the 5th inning in either of his first 3 starts going 4.1, 4.0 and 4.2 innings. Through 13 innings this year he only has 7 strikeouts and has given up 8 ERs. He is giving up a 7.46 xFIP / 2.37 whip / .400 wOBA to LHH and 4.80 xFIP / 1.65 whip / .359 wOBA to RHH. Those numbers are bad, really bad! Seattle his sizzling hot averaging a whopping 6.3 runs per game this year. They also have a .270 team batting average, team .360 wOBA and lead the entire MLB with 42 team HRs and 130 RBIs! Stratton is in trouble! All the projected hitters priced under $5k so that is a nice bonus!

INDIVIDUAL HITTERS TO LOOK AT:

LAD LHH – Joc Pederson, Bellinger, Muncy – Zach Davies giving up a 7.38 xFIP / 2.6 K9 and .363 wOBA to Lefties!

Mike Trout – He is 31 of 83 vs. King Felix with a .373 batting average and .484 wOBA with 8HR. He is expensive but has the BVP to back it up!

HOT HITTERS UNDER $4,300 ON DK:

Tim Beckham vs. Stratton – 9.4 fppg for 2.4x value his current salary.

Adam Jones vs. Soroka – 9.9 fppg for 2.3 x value his current salary.

Fernando Tatis Jr. vs. Tanner Roark – 8.8 fppg for 2.2x value his current salary.

Leury Garcia vs. Tyson Ross – 8.75 fppg for 2.08x value his current salary.

Victor Robles vs. Drew Pomeranz – 8.6 fppg for 2x value his current salary.

Ji-Man Choi vs. Andrew Cashner – 7.2 fppg good for 1.9x value his current salary.

Thank you for reading and good luck!
