Recap: Ready to get back into the swing with this big MLB slate tonight! We have made several changes to the cheatsheets including stacking grades, more pitcher advaned split stats, bullpen grades and player grades. Let's look at some stacks for tonight!
STACKS & PITCHERS TO TARGET AGAINST:
NYY vs. Aaron Sanchez – Great BVP history hitting a solid .293 over 75 Abs with a low 16% strikeout rate. Sanchez on the road has 45.1 IP with a 6.75 ERA, .373 allowed wOBA and 1.85 whip allowing a .304 batting average. NYY are 31-14 at home with a wRC+ of a whopping 130.5!
Cleveland vs. Kyle Gibson – Cleveland has won 6 straight and 7-3 in their last 10 games. Hitting .358 over the last week and 25-18 at home this year with a wRC+ of 103.4. They are hitting .336 vs. Kyle Gibson and that is with a 146 team Abs and a low 14% strikeout rate. Gibson on the road has a 4.47 ERA – 1.47 whip and allowing a .284 batting average. Top 5 projected hitters will only cost you 4,220 on DK per player and if you drop down to the 2-6 hitters you can get them just under 4k per hitter. Solid value stack!
LAA vs. Mike Leake – BVP is awesome hitting .333 through 102 Abs with a low 16% strikeout rate. Leake is on the road tonight and his ERA jumps from 3.42 to 5.08 and his wOBA from .292 to .363. Look for them to get back on track tonight!
Houston vs. Jesse Chavez – Chavez holds a really low 8.1% swinging strike rate and at home he has a 4.26 ERA / .336 allowed wOBA and 1.18 whip. Houston has great BVP history hitting .321 against him through 109 Abs. My least favorite stack but that lineup is potent.
