I am not a handicapping service, so I don’t tell you exactly what to bet and how much. I will share the games that I like and why. You have to decide if you want to fade or follow and how to bet them. If you want less risk then parlay the money lines together, if you want more risk but a higher payout then you can take some run lines (-1.5) for the games. The risk vs. reward choice is one that you make. Here is what I’m looking at for today/tonight:

SPORTS BETTING PICKS:
ATLANTA (-115) OVER CUBBIES
Cubs are struggling right now as they rank 30th in our last 10 game custom power rankings so we are going to continue to pick on them. They send soft tossing Trevor Williams to the mount who throws a slow 90.7 mph fastball 57% of the time. ATL is the #1 hitting team against the fastball and the average they see is 94.2 mph. ATL struggles against his secondary pitches in the slider and curve where they rank 26th and 19th but they are red hot right now.
Braves send Ynoa to the mound and I was impressed when digging into this game. Ynoa’s main pitch is a fastball with a velocity of 96.7 mph! Cubs are 24th against the facebook and the average they face is only 93.5 mph. Cubs rank 6th best against his secondary pitch in the slider. 4 of the Cubs projected lineup are ranked outside the top 130 vs. the heater.
TORONTO (-115) OVER KANSAS CITY
Steven Matz heads to the mound for game 1 and in 12.1 innings this year he is sitting at a 1.46 ERA, 0.89 whip and allowing a low .167 batting average with the #5 bullpen behind him. Matz throws a 94.7 mph fastball 50% of the time and KC ranks 27th vs. the heater. In 82 team Abs vs. Matz KC is hitting .232 with a 24% K rate. Mike Minor heads to the mound for KC and in 10 innings he has a 4.50 ERA, 1.30 whip and allowing a .211 batting average with the 24th ranked bullpen behind him. Minor throws a fastball and slider that make up 70% of his pitches and TOR ranks 8th and 11th vs. those pitches.
MIAMI (-130) OVER SAN FRAN
Both of these bullpens are solid at 4th and 6th and both teams rank well in their last 10 games at 12th and 10th so let’s look at the pitching matchup. Sandy Alcantara throws a freaking 97.6 mph heater 53% of the time and SFG rank 24th vs. the heater. Aaron Sanchez has a main pitch fastball thrown 54% of the time at 91 mph and MIA ranks 4th best vs. the fastball seeing an average of 94.5 mph. Take a shot here on MIAMI.
NYM (DeGrom) -280 PARLAYED with any other games you like:
I don’t like to bet large money line favorites but I’ll definitely parlay them up! DeGrom doesn’t get the run support he deserves but this is a good matchup today. DeGrom is a stud with a 0.64 ERA, 0.71 whip and .170 average allowed this year in 14 innings. DeGrom throws his 99.1 mph fastball 74% of the time and although COL is 8th vs. the heater they only see an average of 92.9 mph. His secondary pitch is the slider and COL ranks 27th vs. the slider. On the other side for COL Chi Chi Gonzales tosses a soft 91.9 mph fastball 63% of the time and the Mets rank 2nd vs. the heater and they see an average of 94 mph so 2 mph less is ideal. His secondary pitch is the slider thrown 28% of the time and the Mets rank 30th against it but they should be able to put together some runs for Degrom in this 7 inning game.
