NBA Plays & Stats for (March 2nd, 2020) from CheatSheetPros!
QUICK NEWS AND NOTES:
We are going to kick around the tires on some NBA DFS plays for tonight and give you our thoughts! It is rare I get to look at this much DFS on a Monday so I'm taking full advantage of it!
PLAYERS TO CONSIDER:
JONAS VALANCIUNAS – Out of the Tier 1 and Tier 2 players he is the highest projected play tonight. I was shocked to see he was only 6800 on DK and in 27.8 min/game he was putting up 5.5x value. So tonight he is facing a team that is giving up 66.4 DKP to the C position over the last two weeks and that is a whopping +27% position advantage! He has played 31 and 32 minutes in his L2 games and put up 49.75 and 51.5 DKP. Wow! Right now he could be a core lock for me tonight!
CAM REDDISH (Questionable) – We were on him last time out and he ended up leaving early with a back injury or spasm or something of that nature. In 28.1 min/game he is putting up 5.25x value and this game has a massive total on it that opened at 238.5 and went up to 241! Wow! We also have ATL scoring around 126 points in our projection model. Prior to leaving early last game he had a 39.5 and 25.75 DKP game and then 2 of the prior 3 he was 30+ DKP and he is still only pried at 4300.
COLLIN SEXTON – He is only 6000 tonight and had a rough game last time out only putting up 24.75 DKP but that was still 4x so didn’t completely ruin your lines. Prior to that game he has 44 DKP and 35.25 DKP which is hitting 6x-7x value which is solid for GPPs. His DVP spot tonight is solid at 1.10 as Utah is giving up 52.2 DKP to the position over the last two weeks.
KEVIN PORTER – With CLE having nothing to the play for they are giving their young players plenty of minutes. He has played 34, 31, 27 and 41 minutes in the L4 contest and put up a variety of scores ranging from as low as 21.25 and as high as 51.5 and the other fell in the 5x and 6x range. Lower team total but a DVP spot of 1.06 and he is only priced at 4900 on DK. His range of outcomes for me tonight is 4x-6x and could hit 7x.
COBY WHITE – He is projected to be a top value play for what I can tell from the early projections but I will give you a word of warning. His DVP spot tonight is 0.86 and that is rough! We have seen several chalk value plays whiff when they are in a tough DVP spot. However, his price tag on DK is only 5800 and he is averaging 7.6x value over his last 4 games with a 50.8 DKP high in his last 10 games so that is hard to overlook. His last 4 games he has 34.5 DKP in 29 minutes which is slightly over value and then 50.75, 49.5 and 42.75, Wow! At his current price tag for those games that were 3 different 9x value games IN-A-ROW! 42 is 7x his current salary so why not put him in the player pool!
DONOVAN MITCHELL – Last 4 games he has put up 45.5, 50.75, 52 and 42.75 DKP and only priced at 7900 on DK tonight. He has also played 33+ minutes in all of those games giving him solid floor time.
GIANNIS – One thing that is jumping out at me is that MIL is only a -4 point favorite @ Miami tonight. Miami has a home record of 25-4. Most people are expecting this to be a close came and some are even calling the Bucks loss. When MIL is put to the test they show up in a big way as you saw with the OKC game where they destroyed them 133-86. I think he is one of the safest plays and if this game stays close he could have a big game. He is priced at 11,400 on DK and I don’t dabble much in the 5 figure salaries but if you need a cash guy to build around Giannis looks good. Getting 6x value at his price point is like getting 6x value from 2 players with half the salary. He has 77.5, 58.25, 61.25, 42, 66.75 and 67.5 DKP in recent games. So only 1 time was he below 5x and the rest pushing 6x and slightly higher? A good building block!
