PLAYERS TO CONSIDER:
Jason Tatum (8200) – With Kemba Walker ruled out Tatum has the biggest usage increase jumping from 28.1 to a nice 37.2 and his FPPM (Fantasy point per minute) production goes from 1.12 to 1.27. His recent production has been light as he is only a 4.3x over his last 4 game average but he has a whopping L10 GPP ceiling of 67.5. His FPPM production year vs. L6 average is 1.27 vs. 1.24 so I’m not worried. DVP is great with opponent allowing 50.22 DKP to his position and a team total of 117.
Marcus Smart (5100) – He is the chalk play of the night with Kemba out and he does have a usage bump from 17.3 to 21.2 but he is going to be CHALK and HIGH OWNED so BE CAREFUL! I don’t think he is going to win a GPP and I think he is better to fade at his ownership level. His FPPM production on the year is around 0.90 but over his last 6 game it has dropped to 0.64. Playing 25 min per game over the last 4 he is only average 15.4 DKP so if we give him 5-10 more minutes we are just looking at him hitting value.
Kendrick Nunn (4400) – Coming off 28, 21, 23 and 30 DKP games he has been solid. He jumps out at me as our custom projection bumped him from a 24 point projection to almost 30. The grade of 91.1 (we typically are looking for grade over 100) but Miami rarely grades out that high because their team total is always lower. What I like with Nunn is that he is averaging 30.6 minutes per game over his last 4 and projected at 31 minutes tonight so I don’t have to worry about minute variance because it is a steady production. He also is averaging over 5x over his last 4 games and has a solid L10 game ceiling of 42 which is over 9x his current salary.
Anzejs Pasecniks (3200) – Solid almost min priced punt option that has been on fire as of late. He is only playing 20 minutes a game but putting up 20 DKP and has a solid FPPM production of 0.91 and a massive DVP matchup as opponent is allowing 54.4 DKP to his position. He has 21, 24, 9 and 30 DKP in his last 4.
Ricky Rubio (7200) – We look for players on our grade tab with a total edge over 100 and minutes projected over 30. Rubio smashes through that window with an edge rating of 167.6. His FPPM production has also included from 1.13 to 1.20 from season vs. L6 game average. He has also topped 41.5 DKP in 4 of his last 6 games!
Devin Booker (7900) – Is also in a solid spot with an edge rating of 128 and averaging 38.4 minutes per game over the last 4. Over the last 4 games Booker is averaging 48 DKP which is over 6x his current salary and has a L10 game ceiling of 55 DKP. His FPPM has also climbed from 1.10 to 1.16 from season to L6 average which is great. Team total of 116 and game total of 225 and we have to have some exposure to him tonight!
