NBA Plays & Stats for (February 26, 2020) from CheatSheetPros!
QUICK NEWS AND NOTES:
We are going to hit on some plays for tonight and some red hot players that you can look deeper into for your lineups!
PLAYERS TO CONSIDER:
JAKOB POELTL – Projected to playing 30 minutes tonight with Aldridge already ruled out and he is the top value play as of this point in time. He is averaging 13.4 minutes over his last 4 games and putting up over 5x value with those limited minutes. Now if he gets to play 30 minutes we love the chance of him hitting value there and even smashing it! DVP spot is solid at 1.14 and his FPPM is nice at 1.16 to 1.18. Eat the chalk!
DEMAR DEROZAN – With Aldridge off the floor he obviously sees the biggest bump in production. His FPPM goes from 1.14 to 1.29 and his usage rate goes from 27.2 to 32.5. Priced at only 7000 on DK he is a good mid-range spot to target. He has been playing 31.5 minutes over his L4 games and only putting up 4.5x so that is a little worrisome but he will need to make it rain to hang with Dallas tonight!
TREY LYLES – Okay do we have enough Spurs? That is where all the value plays seem to be coming from. Lyles is cheap and in 26.6 minutes he is putting up a 5.4x value. When digging a little deeper he only played 18 minutes when they were thrashed by OKC but the prior 3 games he played a solid 29, 31 and 29 minutes. If they can stay somewhat close tonight he could see 30 minutes in a solid DVP spot of 1.05. I like him as a value play tonight.
DEVIN BOOKER – When scrolling down the sheet we always stress projected minutes over 30 and total edge over 100, prefer 120. When going down that list of value players there are several red flags. When I get down to Booker you see an edge rating of 114.1 with 36 projected minutes. He is also averaging 36 minutes in his L4. So with those 36 minutes what is he doing? He is putting up 5.66x value of his current salary. He is coming off 44.5, 44.75, 40 and 50 DKPs. There is a game in there where he only played 19 minutes vs. GSW and put up a dud. Priced at 7900 on DK he has some GPP appeal looking at his shot attempts – 18, 21, 18 and 22 but given he only made 8, 9, 8 and 8 of those so if he can get a few extra shots to fall he provides a solid mid salary play.
ROBERT COVINGTON – Total edge 196.1 and projected for 34 minutes so check and check! In the 33 minutes he has been averaging his L4 game he is putting up a solid 5.8x value. Houston also has an implied team total of a whopping 124 points! Easy pick!
MIKE CONLEY – I hate playing Jazz players but Conley is only 5,000 on DK where I mainly play. Total edge of 173 and projected for 31 minutes so he meets both our qualifications on the NBA Cheatsheet. In a 30.4 minute average he is putting up 5.4x value and has a DVP spot tonight of a whopping 1.21! If we look past his last game of only 22 minutes where they were destroyed by PHX we see that he has been pretty solid putting up 32, 35, 32, 42 and 35 DKPs. All of those games are 6x+ his current salary tonight.
RED HOT PLAYERS– These are players that are scorching hot right now. They are not suggested plays for tonight that is your job to determine if they are playable! These are found using the “Player Tracker” cheatsheet.
Jayson Tatum – 51, 53, 56 DKP in his last 3 games and priced at only 8800.
Bam Adebayo – 64, 34, 70 DKP in his last 3 showing huge upside at 9000.
Aaron Gordon – 53, 42, 55 DKP priced at only 7800.
Tristan Thompson – 31, 25, 35 and 47 across his L4 games priced at only 5300.
