NFL Daily Fantasy Breakdown for Christmas Day from CheatSheetPros!
QUICK NEWS AND NOTES:
Back to writing some articles after being out around a week for a minor surgery! Going to dig into the 2 game Saturday slate since there is so much Covid breaking news the things for Sunday are changing rapidly! I hate this Covid crap wrecking our sporting events!
PLAYERS WE LIKE THIS WEEK:
AARON RODGERS (DK 7600 / FD 8300)
Last 4 games he has 36.5, 29.3, 32.6 and 23.8 DKPs giving him a solid floor and with only a 2 game slate on Saturday he is a top option and for good reason. Packers are 6-0 ATS at home and they average 30.7 PPG at home vs. 21.9 on the road.
DAVANTE ADAMS (DK 9000 / FD 8800)
Pair up the top QB with the top WR and his #1 option. Last week Adams was double covered with a safety over top so he was held to a 6-44-1 line. Prior to last week he had 37, 21 and 34 DKP the prior 3 weeks giving him a 3x-4x value in 2 of the 3 weeks. See above about Packers PPG while playing at home.
NICK CHUBB (DK 7500 / FD 7600)
No Kareem Hunt this week so Chubb should get a full workload in a game they need to slow the pace and keep the Packers off the field. Packers allowing a 4.5 yards per carry on the season. Chubb had a nice 23 carries last week and should be in the same range this week. CLE has the 4th best O-Line and Packers D-Line sits at 29th so he should have room to run. Prefer for cash but hard to spend up this high for GPP with limited ceiling. Hard to see Chubb putting up 4x.
JARVIS LANDRY (DK 5300 / FD 6600)
Landry last played in Week 14 and Week 12 and had 10 targets in each game giving him a solid floor with upside. He was on the Covid list but his time expires Friday so he will be able to play Saturday.
DONOVAN PEOPLES-JONES (DK 4400 / FD 6600)
If CLE is playing catch up it will be Landry to Peoples-Jones that has the big game. Jones has 15 targets the last two weeks and used those for 9 catches for 138 yards but not scores. If we can get him in the end-zone he could provide solid value.
JONATHAN TAYLOR (DK 8800 / FD 10500)
Arizona is allowing 4.6 yards per rush attempt on the season which bodes well for Taylor. Going back 11 games he has no less than 19.7 DKPs and a high of 56.4 DKPs. Solid cash game play as 3x is the likely outcome but has the ceiling for GPPs. He has 29, 32, 16 and 32 rushing attempts over the last 4 weeks. Solid volume!
KYLER MURRAY (DK 7400 / FD 8700)
Since coming back from injury Kyler has put up 30.8, 22.4 and 13.6 DKPs giving him the upside of 4x+ but a floor of 2x. He is fine to use for cash or GPPs with the limited options on the 2 game slate. He has rushed for 59+ yards in 2 of the last 3 games and against the LAR he threw for 383 yards but no scores and 2 picks. Arizona got beat last week 30-23 by the Rams but they led them in first downs 22-18 and total yardage 447 to 356 so don’t worry Arizona’s “O” is still there!
CHRISTIAN KIRK (DK 5600 / FD 7200)
When D-Hop has been out Kirk has been the one picking up the targets and last week also proved that point as he had 12 targets! James Conner (Q) so this could mean a few more pass attempts for Kyler Murray.
OTHER PROJECTED VALUE PLAYERS:
Chase Edmonds, Marquez-Valdez Scantling, Zach Ertz & Josiah Deguara.
