STACKING FOR GPPS:

The stacking concept is simple. Most GPP winning lineups will have a team QB and usually at least 2 pass catchers and one from the opposing team. So that is a good start for building your lineups. Find your QB + 2 pass catchers + 1 run back player from the other team and fill in from there.

STACKS WE LIKE FOR THIS WEEK:

Sorting the "Quick Stacks" tab with the WR-1, TE-1 and opponent WR-1 by "Average Value" it brought up 2 stacks that jumped out at me.

  • RAVENS: Lamar Jackson + Marq Brown + Mark Andrews + Ja'Marr Chase

  • Solid at 51% of the cap space leaving us plenty of wiggle room and a good implied team total of 26.5 points.

  • FALCONS: Matt Ryan + Calvin Ridley + Kyle Pitts + Jaylen Waddle

  • Falcons coming off a "Bye" so they are rested and facing a jet lagged Miami team that just played in London and didn't take the week after as a bye week.

Sorting with the WR-1, WR-2 and opponent WR-1 and then using the "Projected Stack Value" there were two that jumped out.

  • CHIEFS: Mahomes + Hill + Hardman + A.J. Brown

  • Expensive at 55% of the cap space but do-able for cash games. TEN has been good against the TE so prefer going to Tyreek Hill this week as his targets have been on the rise!

  • MIAMI: Tua + Waddle + Parker + Calvin Ridley

  • Dolphin stack is CHEAP at only 45% of cap space leaving you plenty of money to load up other spots. I may also lean Gesicki > Parker for the Miami #2 spot here.

Sorting the "Quick Stacks" tab by Cap% from low to high will give us the cheapest stacks available and I cross check these with the far right column which is the team implied total. Most of these are the 15-19 point teams but a couple jump out and the one that strikes me the most is the Raiders at 26 implied points with only 43% of cap space leaving a TON of money on the table to build with!

  • RAIDERS: Carr + Ruggs + Renfrow + Smith

  • Any stack I can get that is this cheap there is GPP upside!

  • Derek Carr has 6 games under his belt this season and 4 of them he has went for 340 or more yards with a high of 435. He also has at least 2 TDs in 5 of 6 games this year.

PLAYERS WE LIKE THIS WEEK:

RUNNING BACKS:

I typically filter out the single position and sort by GPP Algo and then start picking my fill in players from this screen. These are the RBs I'm going to discuss:

DERRICK HENRY - His price tag and ownership will by sky high this week with the best RB matchup on the slate and several teams on a bye. He still has upside as he has put up 38.6 and 34.0 DKP the last two weeks and has a high of 50.7 vs. a bad rush defense in Seattle. In 3 of his last 5 games he has 3 touchdowns, that is crazy! Averaging 27 rushing attempts per game. Safest play for cash and GPP you have to decide if you want to eat the ownership or pivot!

D. HENDERSON - I was suprised at the rushing attempts he is getting after the pickup of Sony Michel. he has 21 and 17 in the last two games and 13+ in all games he has played this year. He has also been involved in the passing game with anywhere from 1 to 6 targets. This game should be a massive blowout so he should push 18-20 carries against a rush defensive giving up the 26th most yards per game (132.2).

LEONARD FOURNETTE - Another low $6k RB on DK this week is Fournette. He has been running away with the job and I don't see him giving it up anytime soon. He has 22, 12 and 20 rushing attempts in the last 3 and coming off an 81 yard 2 touchdown game where he also caught 6 balls for another 46 yards for 30.7 DKPs. That is almost 5x value! I will give him with a word of caution the blowout game against Miami where they won 45-7 he only rushed 12 times and this game shouldn't be close but he is cheap enough he is worth a play.

DARREL WILLIAMS - Filling in nicely for CEH he put up 23.9 DKPs rushing 21 times for 62 yards, 2 touchdowns and caught 3 of 4 targets for another 27 yards. Price under $6K on DK that is 4x value. In a game with a 57.5 total he is cheap!

J.D. McKISSIC - Antonio Gibson is Q and if he is out then McKissic is a lock and load at $5,000 on DK. I don't care for him as much on Fanduel but on full PPR like DK he is a beast in the passing game. In a game they come in as a heavy underdog he should get plenty of passing looks. He is coming off an 8 catch 65 yard game on 10 targets with another 45 on the ground for 19 DKP (almost 4x). If he found the endzone that would be put around 5x value.

WIDE RECEIVERS:

Following the same process as above we filter out by WR and sort by GPP Algo and that gives us a group of WRs to pick from. Yes Cooper Kupp and DaVante Adams are at the top but they are also priced at the top with heavy ownership so I'll pivot down to some lower guys.

DEEBO SAMUEL - Projected around WR-3 for GPP he is cheaper and ownership is projected at around one-third the other guys. IND has a solid rush defense so they could get into pass heavy mode and Deebo has 9, 13 and 10 targets the last 3 games with a high of 38.7 DKPs that is just over 5x value!

MARQUISE BROWN - He didn't need to do anything last week in the 34-6 blowout of the Chargers but his prior game was solid with 9 grabs on 10 targets for 125 yards and 2 touchdowns for 36.5 DKPs. He is the clean WR-1 in the offense and priced at only $5,800 on DK that is giving you a 6x ceiling which is great for GPPs. He has a low floor so don't prefer him in cash lineups. (For Derrick Henry to get 6x he would need 55.8 DKP so it is much more feasible for Brown to get to 6x.)

ANTONIO BROWN - He has been the top WR in this high powered offense the last two weeks putting up 24.3 and 34.4 DKPs with a combined two week total of 16 catches on 21 targets for over 210 yards and 3 touchdowns. Priced at $6,300 he has 4x and 5x game the last two weeks. Tougher matchup against the Bears but Brady is at home and can have his way.

CALVIN RIDLEY - He was priced at $7,900 on DK to start the year and his price tag has fell to $7,500 then $7,000 and now $6,600. This may be the lowest price tag on Ridley we get so take advantage of it! He has 13, 11 and 10 targets in his last 3 played games and has 7-8 grabs in each one giving you a solid floor. He hasn't had that blowup game like we saw out of Kyle Pitts last week but it's coming! Like him for cash because 2x doesn't crush your lineup and him putting up a 0 is almost impossible with double digit targets.

C. PATTERSON - Don't like him for GPP lineups but love him for cash. He started the year at $3,700 and has risen up to $6,300. He has 18, 35, 16 and 24 DKPs so that is giving you 3x, 5x, 2.5x and just under 4x. I don't like him for GPP because he likely won't hit the bonus and he's a pesky 30-50 rushing yards, 30-50 receiving yards and 5-7 catches for that 3x average return. That doesn't win GPPs but it does cash in your double ups!

STERLING SHEPARD - Back in action with a bang he had 14 TARGETS last week and caught 10 of them for 76 yards! That's just over 3x value without a TD! Everyone is banged up so he should see another heavy workload this week at only $5,600.
