NFL Week 7 DFS Breakdown!

NFL Week 7 - Daily Fantasy Breakdown

QUICK NEWS & NOTES:

Week 7 is already upon us and we have some great picks for everyone! I'm going to jump right in and get started!

DAILY FANTASY STACKS:

INDIANAPOLIS COLTS

Matt Ryan went nuts last week throwing for 389 passing yards and 3 touchdowns. Michael Pittman had 13 catches on 16 targets for 134 yards. Parris Campbell even got in on the action with 7 grabs for 57 yards and had 11 targets. This week the Colts face the Titans who have the 29th rated pass defense and they are dead last against deep passes. Titans also allowing the most passing yards per game in the NFL at over 320!

LOS ANGELES CHARGERS

I could go either side on this game but like Justin Herbert / Austin Ekeler / Mike Williams for cash or GPPs. Herbert will hopefully be lower owned this week since he only has 9.4 and 14.4 DKPs over the last 2 weeks. See write up below for Ekeler.

DALLAS COWBOYS

Dak returns (or at least he is reported to return) to play @ HOME against the LIONS who are allowing 430.7 yards per game (32nd) and 35 points per game (32nd). What a great spot! If we look back at week 16, 17 and 18 of last season we can see his upside. Those games went for 295 and 5 touchdowns, 226 and 3 touchdowns and 330 with 4 touchdowns.

HIGHEST PROJECTED QB+WR1+WR2 STACKS:

RUNNING BACKS:

BREECE HALL

Denver has a good pass defense but allowing 4.4 yards per carry and over 130 rushing yards per game. After 6, 7 and 8 rushing attempts to start the season he has exploded to take over that backfield with 17, 18 and 20 over the last 3 weeks. Putting up 97 and 116 rushing yards the last two weeks I like him to stay in that range again this week. He also has two games on the season with 6 catches giving up great PPR upside on sites like DK.

JOSH JACBOS

This guy has been on fire with 49 rushing attempts over the last 2 games putting up 144 and 154 rushing yards and another 31 and 39 receiving yards and 3 touchdowns! Now he gets to face a Houston team allowing 5.1 yards per carry (28th) and allowing an 82% Red Zone TD% (32nd). He is averaging over 6 yards per carry over the last 2 games.

AUSTIN EKELER

In PPR formats he should be an RB-1 this week. I mean Seattle is allowing 5.1 yards per carry (28th) and allowing 174.7 rushing yards per game (30th) and they rank 29th vs. pass catching RBs. What else can we ask for? Slide over to the DVP tab on the NFL cheat sheet and sort the RB table by “Catch %” and you’ll see Seattle allows an 88.6% catch rate which is highest in the NFL. Austin Ekeler has a 173 yard rushing game and other games with 8, 9 and 10 catches so he can get you on the ground and through the air. In his last 3 games he has 269 rushing yards, 20 receptions for 123 receiving yards and 6 total touchdowns!

WIDE RECEIVERS/TIGHT ENDS:

DEANDRE HOPKINS

Marshawn Lattimore is OUT this week and Marquise Brown is also out giving Hopkins a clear patch to a bunch of targets! Brown has 9, 10, 11, 17 and 11 targets over the last 5 weeks so Hopkins should step into that spot. Zach Ertz has 10+ targets in 4 of the last 5 weeks and Rondale Moore has started to pick up with 5, 8 and 10 targets over the last 3 weeks.

CEEDEE LAMB

Lamb runs out of the slot 58% of the time and the AJ Parker covers the slot 95% of the time for the Lions giving him a projected 19-20 snaps in his coverage. AJ Parker is allowing a 113.3 passer rating when targeted and nearly an 80% catch rate.

ROBERT TONYAN

Last week I was taking a shot on Randall Cobb after his big game the prior week and the first time I checked in on the game Cobb was being carted off the field in tears! But Robert Tonyan took all those short passes and routes and put up a 10 catch 90 yard line on 12 targets. He if continues to get those looks he is a cheap option we can plug into the TE spot this week.

TYREEK HILL

Last week in season long I tried to get cute and sit Tyreek Hill with the 7th round QB starting and that was a mistake! He caught 12 balls for 177 yards. Teddy Bridgewater did come into the game and throw for 300+ so that helps but play your studs! Tyreek Hill has huge upside as his 3 largest games this season he has 11 for 190 yards, 10 for 160 yards and 12 for 177 yards. He will get over 50% of his routes against Arthur Maulet who covers the slot 91% of the time for the Steelers and allows a 124.4 QB passer rating when targeted.
